​James (or Jimbo) is a freelance illustrator based on the south coast of England. He was born in Brighton and studied Illustration at the University of Portsmouth. Forever an old soul with a fascination for people and their personalities, James reflects this in his work through the use of traditional drawing materials to create a retro feel using characters as the main focal point.

 

Since he was a nipper, James has always been drawing, taking his pen and paper with him whenever he left home. These days if he's not focused on his current illustration, you'll probably catch him humming along to The Ink Spots, walking up the South Downs, or jamming on his accordion or guitar.
